Do you get surprised when you think about it and realise that Louis CK isn’t your mate in real life? I was genuinely upset when I heard he was playing at the 02 and I was like, he didn’t even let me know about it, it’s like he doesn’t even care anymore. Which of course he doesn’t, because he doesn’t know me.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Louie are good with moments of greatness. Season 3 is great with moments of pure, indisputable genius. If you’re not familiar with his work yet, you’re welcome. If you are, you already know. It’s heart stopping at times. It’s the best box set I’ve ever seen. Ever.
Warning: Don’t confuse this with Lucky Louie which CK also produced in 2006, because that is not good.
