Warning: Boring review ahead
The trailer makes this seem much more thriller than it is. Like In Bruges or The Guard it is script lead (as opposed to mostly violence) with great performances by Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell.
The show stealing, stand out moments all belong to Christopher Walken. If I’m honest I’m not really sure what Tom Waits was up to but it’s always nice to see the old guy, like when Rolf Harris a none sexual predator pops round for a cup of tea and you’re sort of busy but you make time and afterwards you’re glad you did. Just like that.
This is one of those films that you feel a part of when you’re watching it. There are twists and turns and puzzles and above all, classic lines and belly laughs.
Super tight.
